The second GoGreen newsletter highlights the project's significant progress since its inception in January 2022. Efforts have been focused on developing the project's image and dissemination strategy, as well as developing the website and social media presence. The structure of the project has been finalised, the workload has been divided, and guidelines have been developed. The Guide "Essential networks and opportunities for green local action" and the Course "Environmental Local Governance for the Twenty-First Century" are notable outputs. SYNTHESIS in Cyprus hosted the inaugural Training Course, which brought together environmental decision-makers and professionals from five countries. The modules covered natural capital, cultural heritage, waste management, and water management. Study visits, group exercises, and discussions on European Green Deal policies facilitated useful insights, debates, and the sharing of best practises. Participants' testimonials emphasised the inspiring and collaborative learning environment. The newsletter highlights the project partners' commitment and progress in promoting sustainable local governance and environmental action.
